EASY SHARP LIQUID WILL NOT REPAIR BROKEN TEETH! |
| |
| |
We recommend that you keep one rasp
just for trimming and another for clenching up. Remember,
your trimming rasp will now last a great deal longer and
you may want to try a different style of rasp (you could
try a Bellota or Simmonds Finishing File) for clenching rather
than your “worn
out” trim rasp. Don’t forget your clenching up
rasp can be sharpened too, but because of the damage to the
teeth the results will not be as good. |
Keep your rasps CLEAN, especially when
using the EASY SHARP liquid. |
Place immersion tank in a bucket or tray to catch any spillage. |
| |
Keep the EASY SHARP Liquid
CLEAN! The liquid will become contaminated as it is used.
We recommend you filter it after every 15-20 rasps sharpened.
I use a simple sieve and funnel (less than £5 from
your local hardware shop) |
Keep the Dip Tank CLEAN!
Some residue will collect at the bottom of the tank. This is
normal ! Simply wash out with water and dry thoroughly before
refilling with EASY SHARP LIQUID. |
| |
After removing the rasps sharpening wash with water,
dry , spray with WD40.
The picture on the right shows: a rusty rasp,
one that has been treated washed and dried (grey middle
rasp), one that has then been sprayed with WD40 (top almost
black rasp)
| |
Dispose of all cloths and sludge in accordance
with your own ethics… and your Local Authority Laws.
| |
Pull a sock over the end of the dipping tank when emptying
, this acts as a sieve and collects all the residue |
| |
| |
Lastly, we hope this helps keep your
rasp costs down and enables you to always have a sharp rasp
to work with. |
